Hotwire Hotel: 4* San Francisco (USE) Westin St. Francis

If possible, I am requesting some help with Hotwire. I searched Hotwire East and West Union Square for 08/05/04 through 08/09/04. I am interested in discovering the identies of the following hotels given to me by Hotwire:

1. Union Square East; 3 1/2 Stars; Amen: Restaurant, Fitness and Business; Price $84

2. Union Square West; 3 1/2 Stars; BEST VALUE; Amen: Boutique, Restaurant, Fitness and Business; Price $85

3. Union Square East; 4 Stars; CUSTOMER FAVORITE; Amen: Restaurant, Fitness and Business; Price $104

Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

1. seems to match both the Crowne Plaza Hotel SF Union Square and the Sir Francis Drake

2. seems to match the Serrano Hotel

3. seems to match the Grand Hyatt SF

None of the amenities are that unique to the area so there could always be other hotels that match but that we don't yet know about.

Hello,

I wanted to let everyone know I accepted No. 3 from above (i.e., 4 Star/Union Square East). The hotel is the Westin St. Francis. In addition, the price ended up at $107, not $104, as shown on 5/1. All the same hotels appeared with 1-3 dollar increases in their amounts. I hope this helps.

Congratulations on your win, i'm certain the information will be useful for others down the road. Hotwire fluctuates their prices throughout the day in order to increase the opacity (otherwise users would know the $82 hotel was ABC Hotel, the $93 hotel was XYZ Hotel, etc).

Your rate at the Westin seems much better than the $219 offered on their website!

Interesting "unveiling" of the Westin! There is also a 4.5 stars in the Union Square East displaying on these same dates. I was always under the "hunch" that the 4.5 was the Westin. Now the mystery is which hotel is it!!!
