Stayed here for a quick business meeting, so I didn't really see a whole lot of the surrounding area or use the hotel for anything other than a bed and shower. The staff was quite helpful, and a a request to change from a double/double room to a queen or king room was granted. The street signs around the hotel noted that it was in the Entertainment District, and there are several attractions very close. This hotel is connected to the Toronto Convention Centre, and is within walking distance of the Hockey Hall of Fame, Rogers Centre, and the CN Tower. Union Station is just down the street, and the downtown business district is nearby as well. The Airport Express bus stops at the hotel, and given the Toronto area traffic, is a great deal at $16.95 one way/$30 round-trip to Pearson International. The taxi service charges a flat rate of $46 to/from the airport, but getting a cab at Pearson can be an adventure (I stood 45 minutes for one).

The room itself was nothing to get excited about, but there was nothing to offend. The room and bathroom were of good size and clean. The bed was comfortable enough, and the staff was helpful. The only complaint I would make was the TV was an ancient 19" CRT monitor. There was no danger of anyone walking out one those.

Proud to be Canadian!
