jenseattle Posted November 24, 2007 Report Posted November 24, 2007 My 3* bid for these dates was rejected. Ideally, Hyatt Jersey city would be great. Does any one have a suggested amount to bid? Thanks!Jennifer
thereuare Posted November 25, 2007 Report Posted November 25, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding! With rates at the Hyatt $500+ per nite for these dates i doubt that is a very likely outcome. What is your maximum bid for this stay? Do you have a back-up reservation? (if so, where and how much) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

jenseattle Posted November 28, 2007 Author Report Posted November 28, 2007 Max bid $225No back up hotel.
thereuare Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 ... and this stay starts tonite! :) With rates at the Doubletree at nearly $400/nite and the Hyatt at over $400/nite average i would think your changes are low, but i would try as follows:You have one re-bid zone when bididng 3* in Jersey City. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding. Select 3* Jersey City...Bid $190, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $225.Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
