Priceline Hotel: santa monica 23/11/07-28/11/07

implanning to go to LA, arrive on 23/11/07 and depart on 28/11/07

i have friends that live in santa monica, so id like to stay as close to them as possible. i wont need a car as my friend has one(heard there are fee's for parking on 2.5star and above hotels also no breakfast included).

my budget is quite flexible, max $125 per night, but dont mind staying in a cheaper hotel as is just myself, my main aim is just to get value for money.

There's a reasonable chance you can win a 3* hotel in Santa Monica for $125 or less. If want to save money and your friend is willing to drive about 12 miles to the airport you can probably win a 3* in LAX zone for under $60. Do you prefer the $$ savings or proximity to Santa Monica?
