Hotwire Hotel: 3* Seattle (Space Needle)??

Need help figuring out what this hotel is. Looked on the list and nothing matches.

3* Seattle (Space Needle)

- Fitness Center

- Business Center

- Restaurant

- High Speed Internet Access

Date July 25 to 26 $169

We would like Homewood Suites, thats my families favorite hotel but I don't think it is it.

Are you still seeing this property on a current HOTWIRE search, as i dont' see this offering listed on a current search. If so, are you searching for more than the default 2adults/0children?

Hmmm now that I look again it looks like no business center but I could have sworn when I check this morning I thought it was there. But everything else looks right and yes one room two adults. So what do you think it is?

This property has not yet been identified. The Best Western Executive Inn would be a guess, but that property has been seen with the original amenties you've listed in your fist post (given the price is stil the same as the hotel with the Business icon, maybe this is the same property with different amenities showing at different times? :))

However, is there a reason you want/need to be in the Space Needle zone? Most visitors prefer the Pike Place area, and there is a 4* hotel on HOTWIRE in that zone for the same price as above... so it would be in a better location (as per the 'average' visitor) and higher rated than the about... would the Pike Place zone work for your needs?

Even if a hotel in the Space Needle area is better suited to your needs than one in the Pike Place area, I don't think it's a good idea to lock yourself into a $169/night room this far in advance when:

1. You don't know what the hotel is, and

2. Hotwire is claiming a savings of only $10/night.

Thanks for the input, my parents just prefer Homewoods suites, to other hotels so thats the only reason why we are looking in the Space Needle area. Most likely though we are going to go with the 4 star in the Pike Place. But was curious to see what that hotel was.

The Pike Street Suites, formerly the Summerfield Suites, are due to complete a changeover to become Homewood Suites sometime soon, and I think this changeover should be in place by July. I think this location would be more convenient (for most purposes) than the Homewood Suites on the other side of the Space Needle. You'd probably have to book directly if you want to be sure of getting either hotel, of course.
