Priceline Hotel: Help for 4* Oct Stay

I am looking for a 4* in Georgetown/Foggy Bottom, Dupont Circle/Woodley, Convention Center, White House in that order respectively.

I tried $75 - $135 for the Georgetown/Foggy Bottomm Area using the 4 rebid zones with multiple arrangements.

Any bidding price advice? Hotels are v expensive in the area for that weekend. Many are totally sold out.

I tried up to $175 for the Georgetown/Foggy Bottom area with no luck. I would normally bid on the Dupont Area but this bid is for a friend and she is not super interested in the Omni Shoreham in Woodley Park (I think I saw it on priceline for $195/night). I made a back up reservation at the Westin in Tyson's Corner for $99 if all else fails.
