doublehelix
I'm trying to book a room for my father-in-law for October 1st. He's flying internationally and looking for a place to rest during his 13-hour layover. Trouble is, he'll land at 7 or 8 AM and leave the hotel at 9 or 10 PM to meet his connecting flight. I'm aiming for a 2.5* Hotwire reservation, since the hotels at that star-level (like the Ramada and Fairfield Inn that show on BB's pinned list) are generally helpful and accommodating for special requests like this one.Any suggestions or warnings to offer?~Jen Link to comment
thereuare
I'm not so sure you'll find any particular star class more accomodating than another... more likely dependent upon the occupancy levels of the hotel and the mood of the clerk at check-in.As an alternative, perhaps leave the bags at the airport (will they automatically be checked-thru?) and head into the city to see a sight or two and have a nice lunch and/or dinner. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
