1st bid downtwn 4*70 rejected

2nd dtwn, copley 80 rejected

3rd dtwn,copley,cambridge 90 rejected

2nd day bid up to 127 for dtwn, copley, cambridge, s boston, waterfront rejected.

any suggestions? greatly appreciated.

I'm using the rebid strategy and has gone up to 160 without any luck. Worst case scenario is a suite 12 mi from boston for 200.

Royal Sonesta for $235/nite

Lenox for $236/nite

i went back and try with 3* with 3 rebids for dtnw, copley, cambridge and waterfront up to 150 and no luck.

two hours later 3* waterfront and somerville at 115 rejected

rebid with wtrfront, somerville, copley 125 accepted and upgrade to 4* at fairmont copley plaza.

What a great example of how quickly inventory can change...

$150 rejected... 2 hours later, $125 accepted!

This is why so many people here recommend that if you fail one day, when you attempt to bid again the next day, you may want to "back track" and NOT begin by bidding higher than the previous day's attempts, especially if you have a lot of time before your stay begins.
