Hi,

please help me to ID 4* hotel in Montparnasse - Porte de Versailles in paris on hotwire for 10/13/07

amenities: fitness center, restaurant, business center and high speed internet

and 3.5* hotel in Montparnasse - Porte de Versailles in paris

amenities: business center and high speed internet.

My bid for $300 for 4* hotel in paris got rejected for 10/13/07 for 3 nights. any suggestions for priceline bidding. I am willing to pay $300 for night for 4 star in paris.

To clarify, you're looking at only one nite, 10/13, for the HOTWIRE hotels above but your complete stay is actually 10/13-10/16? Is there a reason your booking this sole nite first before securing the other two nites?

The above properties have not yet been identified.

I don't have a guess for the 3.5*, but if i were to take a shot at the 4* i'd think the Le Meridien Montparnasse would be a good guess.

Regular rates are really high for 4* hotels for the most part on that night.

LMM is a possibility, but the way the zones are set up, so is the less desirable Sofitel Porte de Sevres, which is beyond the peripherique. The zone map clearly indicates the area beyond the peripherique is included for Montparnasse - Porte de Versailles.

If you go to GTA Hotels.com, you can get the 4* Tryp Francois, which is really central, for $362 including breakfast on that night. (I'm not sure if it's a true 4*, though.)

I just realized price for 4* in Montparnasse - Porte de Versailles went upto $450 in HOTWIRE for 10/13/07 to 10/16/07.

With just one amenity icon you can never be too certain, but this matches what has previously been reported for the Opera Cadet so that woudl be our best guess.
