blkjck1 Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Needed a room to do a "drive by" business meeting in late November. Decided to try get a room early while I was bored at work. Started the bidding at $70 and rejected. Used rebid zones at $72 and $75 before being accepted at $78.Intercontinental Toronto Centre Downtown Toronto225 Front Street West Toronto, Ontario M5V 2X3 416-597-1400Check-In Date: Mon, Nov 26, 2007 Check-Out Date: Tue, Nov 27, 2007 Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: US$78.00 Subtotal: US$78.00 Taxes & Service Fees: US$18.93 Total Charges: US$96.93 Once converted back to Canadian dollars, this room will cost about $100. The IC Hotels website lowest price for this hotel on an all-in basis was CAD$215. The hotel doesn't seem to have the best reviews on Tripadvisor, but since all I plan to do is sleep here one night, I can deal with the disappointment if there is any. Hopefully, the hotel will be able to get the best rooms ready first after the Grey Cup partiers leave that morning. As always, we started the bidding through savingsbarn.com. Proud to be Canadian!
