I was really happy with this one.

40 $ was the first bid on priceline - and it was accepted.

Then I realised that I mixed up the dates :)

Instead of 09/16 - 09/17 I wanted to stay the same dates in october :)

Well... at least it was only for one night and a low bid.

Now I'm going to try again and will start even lower...

Thank you for sharing your results with the board... sorry to hear you entered the wrong dates :)

Sometimes Priceline does have a heart and will cancel a reservation if you selected the wrong dates. If you haven't bid again yet i would contact them before bidding again, if you have already bid again (and won) i would include your 'new' winning bid confirmation number to show that it was indeed a mistake and that you have since purchased the correct date. Sometimes the cancellations comes with a $25 cancellation fee, so although that is the majority of your $40 bid, you'll also get back taxes and fees, so still may be worthwhile if you have no use for the room above on this date.

I tried for the right dates but haven't been successful yet.

I wrote to Priceline anyways and told them what happened. I'll let you know how it goes.

Priceline didn't accept the cancelation and I didn't get back any money.

Well... at least it was only a 40 $ bid.
