I bid through SavingsBarn and won the La Quinta.

$40 for 2.5* got a $12 couteroffer. There are no free rebid zones for 2.5* in Sacramento, so I added University zone (which consistently costs more than Rancho Cordova) and bid $42, which was accepted.

This was $99 at LQ.com, and HOTWIRE had a 3* in Rancho/Folsom for $68.
