WillTravel
Bid through Savingsbarn.com to help support the board. Your Offer Price: $46.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 3 Subtotal: $138.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $27.73 Total Charges: $165.73 http://marriott.com/property/propertyPage....arshaCode=SEADThttp://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews...Washington.htmlCheapest rate on the web site is $99.This isn't my favorite area, but it will do. But as discussed on other threads, Priceline is not the best for targetting your exact area in downtown Seattle. I did not want to pay $70 or so on Hotwire. I'm hopeful that breakfast is included (conflicting info about this, so I guess I should assume not). Maybe I'll get around to trying the swimming pool, spa, and exercise room. The King County Transit Planner will help us figure out what buses to take: http://tripplanner.metrokc.gov/cgi-bin/iti...e.pl?resptype=UI wasn't able to start bidding on this until recently, because I had to wait to confirm the dates. Last year for a similar time period I got the 2* Inn at Queen Anne for a bid of $26/night, but I bid that one several weeks in advance. Anyway I tried lots of different dates and combinations and I also included Lake Union in some bids. I had lots of counteroffers from all my various efforts. I tried for a 2.5* up to $52 for April 16-18, but did not succeed. This time around, I bid $38 for 2* Seattle Downtown and got a counteroffer for $11 more. $44 with Lake Union failed. Used new account and bid $46 and got this.According to TripAdvisor reviews, Hotwire and Priceline customers do not get a suite, so the name is misleading. Link to comment

mucsea2003
Didn't this use to be a 2.5*? Link to comment
WillTravel
I hadn't seen this one come up before. I was a little surprised it's only rated as 2*, but I didn't have an upgrade. (And bids of more than this for a 2.5* had failed.) Link to comment
