Priceline Hotel: Looking for 4* Boston Backbay, 8/21-8/22

Just reporting my lack of results.

I'm shooting for a 4* hotel in Boston Backbay for one night 10/21-10/22 via SavingsBarn.com and no luck as far as $131 after walking it all the way from $81. According to the Convention Checker, the chemistry convention is in town around this time. :)

If you haven't found anything yet, HOTWIRE is showing availability by the airport 3* at $174. You might have to take that?

(It's not Back Bay, but there tends to be a lot more availability, in general, at Logan - maybe you could win a lower bid on priceline in that area)

Thanks -- but I ended up deciding to stay with a friend of mine.

I did take 4* upto $166 in Downtown/Copley and the Airport, as well as 3* to $125 in Logan and Copley -- definitely something going on this particular day.
