Hotwire Hotel: 3* San Francisco (Japantown-Civic Center North ) Opal

I bid today for a one night stay in SF tomorrow 8/7, a Tuesday. Looking for a 2.5* deal, flexible to location.

Lots of bids and ultimate result: $55 for 2.5* rejected in all eight SF Priceline zones, including Airport, plus Berkeley-Emeryville.

Considering options.... :)

Give HOTWIRE and EasyClickTravel a look... both seem to have some hotels with rates not too far above your current bid amounts.

That's the state of things here now. I haven't been able to get a hotel in any SF zone in the last few weeks for up to $60.

Using the HOTWIRE link I purchased the 3* in Japantown-Civic Center North zone for $65, which turned out to be the Opal. I've stayed there before and I like it.

Amenities are:

Breakfast, Fitness, Business Center, Laundry, Internet.

Same amenities as when I stayed there in June.

Regular price is $120 or $108 AAA at theopalsf.com. On Orbitz it's $99.
