Colfax Posted August 7, 2007 Report Posted August 7, 2007 I bid today for a one night stay in SF tomorrow 8/7, a Tuesday. Looking for a 2.5* deal, flexible to location. Lots of bids and ultimate result: $55 for 2.5* rejected in all eight SF Priceline zones, including Airport, plus Berkeley-Emeryville.Considering options.... :)

zbenye Posted August 7, 2007 Report Posted August 7, 2007 That's the state of things here now. I haven't been able to get a hotel in any SF zone in the last few weeks for up to $60.
Colfax Posted August 7, 2007 Author Report Posted August 7, 2007 Using the HOTWIRE link I purchased the 3* in Japantown-Civic Center North zone for $65, which turned out to be the Opal. I've stayed there before and I like it. Amenities are:Breakfast, Fitness, Business Center, Laundry, Internet.Same amenities as when I stayed there in June.Regular price is $120 or $108 AAA at theopalsf.com. On Orbitz it's $99.
