thereuare Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 What is your maximum bid for this stay? You do know that you do have more bidding opportunities available? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
irish6004 Posted August 2, 2007 Author Report Posted August 2, 2007 More bidding opportunities??? I haven't been rejected that many times since my senior prom! I'll probably try again tonight starting at $100 for the Downtown 4*. I'd like to keep it under $125 based average bids for Boston...
irish6004 Posted August 3, 2007 Author Report Posted August 3, 2007 Pretty much using the same bidding pattern, I bid up to $130 for 4* Downtown and was rejected every single time, then I used the same bidding pattern on 4* in Copley up to $130 and still had no luck. I'm afraid of bidding on a 3* downtown for fear that I'll get the Boston Park Plaza and get stuck in one of those little European rooms with my buddy which would not be cool.
thereuare Posted August 3, 2007 Report Posted August 3, 2007 Any thoughts regarding SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID?... or HOTWIRE where you may be able to identify a 3* that is not the Park Plaza? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
irish6004 Posted August 3, 2007 Author Report Posted August 3, 2007 Not feasable to split my stay and Hotwire doesn't have anything attractive for under $200/night. At this point I'll have to raise my max bid, maybe to $150 and keep my fingers crossed...
