Olive Posted July 29, 2007 Report Posted July 29, 2007 My husband, best friend and I will be in Chicago from August 23th to August 27th and I got the job of fixing accomodation . I would have had no problem if it was just the two of us , but I needed two rooms at a reasonable price . We will be attending a wedding on the 25th at the Four Seasons hotel so I hoped for a hotel close by there . I first tried for a four star with Priceline but without success then I ended up with the three star Holiday Inn Mart Plaza , the very hotel I hoped I would not get . Anyway I think the price is good $796.26 for 2 rooms for 4 nights ,so I shall let you know how we get on . After reading so many mixed reviews and seeing that the hotel is a bit out of the way I am rather concerned .
dahammer Posted July 30, 2007 Report Posted July 30, 2007 Welcome to BetterBidding! Can you please post the price per night, before taxes and fees, that was the winning bid?thanks!
thereuare Posted July 30, 2007 Report Posted July 30, 2007 It took some time but i think i figured out it's $80. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Olive Posted July 30, 2007 Author Report Posted July 30, 2007 It took some time but i think i figured out it's $80.Sorry folks ,Im only getting the hang of this , $85 before taxes and things . Im happy with the price but I might be inclined to go HOTWIRE in future because you appear to have more control in what hotel you get .
