Hotwire Hotel: 3* Winnipeg Holiday Inn South

Hotwire moved me here after a terrible experience at York the Hotel.

Despite the very loud school group that was staying here for the first night (which btw the staff did their best to control) I was very happy with this hotel.

I was greeted by Carol, whom I believe was the front desk manager, who was very friendly, and assigned me a lovely room with 2 beds on the 9th floor. A note for those who are thinking of upgrading their room-they can't do it here.

The beds in the room were very comfortable, and there was a good sized fridge in the room. The room was clean and well decorated, and so was the bathroom, which also featured a heat lamp (a nice touch!)

The pool was very warm, which I liked, and the hot tub was the perfect temperature, not too hot, not too cold.

Room service breakfast was very good and very reasonably priced.

I would stay here again in an instant.

$59, Shuttle, Fitness (didn't have one though from what I saw), pool, restaurant, Business, Laundry

Mind you Hotwire gave me an additional discount which further lowered the rate to $37 because of the terrible experience at York the Hotel.
