Putt4Doe Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 Hello,Great website - I love the concept. It helps de-mystify your selection once you commit to hitting the 'purchase now' button! I'm planning a stay in San Diego from 8/16 through 8/20. Ideally would like a 'suite' style room - like Embassy or similar.I did a search on Hotwire today & it identified a 3.5 Hotel in the Downtown/Harbor Island area. The reason why I zeroed on this one was because in the Amenities section, it identified this property as a 'Suite - extended style' type of room. Additionally, it said it had a pool, business center, fitness center, restaurant, and hi speed internet services.I took a look at the 'hotel list' that is pinned on this board and was unable to correlate a 3.5 hotel in this area. The closest match appeared to be Sheraton Suites - but not certain if that is correct? Else, I'm thinking possible Residence Inn?Thanks for your input.PS - The rate provided was $109.00 per night. My max is $175.00.CB
canadianexpert Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 it is the sheraton suites, they add a parking fee of $20 $25 for valet, the way to go according to trip advisor if you have a vehicle, i never saw the $109 rate i got it at 119 a night for 8/18-8/20.
