IBDP Posted July 11, 2007 Report Posted July 11, 2007 two separate reservations. first one for 7/12-14/07. Second for 7/11/07. I tried to "add a night" for Saturday, the 14th, and was refused, but noted that I could have the night for $299.00!!!! This type of thing occurs whenever I try to add a night at a hotel. I am beginning to think that it is a way of extracting more money. Anyone agree? I will try to arrange Saturday night on my own with priceline just as soon as my 24 hours lapses. Stay tuned.Regards,Donna
thereuare Posted July 11, 2007 Report Posted July 11, 2007 It's a great win, at a great price, for this property (or for a 4* in NYC for that matter). What's surprising is that the rate for Saturday nite is actually less than the average rate for the three nites above... so perhaps they want $299 since it may be viewed by the system as a Saturday nite check-in?If you need help with the remaining nite (or to report another win) please start a NEW TOPIC.Enjoy your stay. theskypatrol Posted July 11, 2007 Report Posted July 11, 2007 $120 is really low! Is it because it so close to those dates?
thereuare Posted July 11, 2007 Report Posted July 11, 2007 That could be part of it... but it's also "summertime in the city" (read: slow season) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
