Hi! I'm looking for one nite stay in Traverse City or surrounding. Don't want to spend more than $120 if possible. Just for 2 adults. Any suggestions?

What is the minimum star rating you're willing to accept?

Are you willing to pay more for a higher price hotel or are you looking for the least expensive hotel at that minimum star quality? (ie- i haven't looked at prices at all, but just as an example, would you prefer a 3* for $100 or a 2.5* for $75)

Let us know and we'll advise accordingly.

sorry to forgot to mention, 2-2.5* is fine, but of course, if I can get higher star rating at about the same price, then it's even better. The highest I can go may be is $140 or so.

Is there some event happening on this dates as rates seem unusally high.

However, priceline's "reatail" product showns the Quality Inn for just $99/nite (as well as other properties below your stated maximum bid)... is this acceptable and would you therefore want to lower your maximum bid?

I think there's a cherry festival there and many people go there.

Do you happen to have a list of hotels with their price line star ratings in that city? Quality Inn is 2 stars?

Any hotels reported to the board in this zone would be found in the Priceline Hotel List.

Yes, the Quality Inn would likely be considered 2 stars (although not yet reported, but available thru Priceline's "retail" product). You can certainly bid in order to try to beat this rate, but you may (probably) want to consider lowering your maximum bid if this property would be acceptable for the price.

Thanks. I'm not sure I understand this.
