Papa123142 Posted June 6, 2007 Report Posted June 6, 2007 Hotwire is offering a 4* hotel in the Chicago Loop area for $126 and a 3* hotel in the same area for $245. Is there any logic or does Hotwire offer the rate provided by the hotel? Can anyone venture a guess as to what the 4* Hotel may be.?Thanks :)
AaronJB Posted June 6, 2007 Report Posted June 6, 2007 It happens. The rates depend on what the hotel decides to offer. It's impossible to venture a guess at which hotel is which without knowing what dates you are looking at and what amenities you are seeing associated with the listings.
dahammer Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 Can anyone venture a guess as to what the 4* Hotel may be.?can you please post your dates of travel and the amenities for both hotels?HOTWIRE shows only one hotel for for each star rating per zone, that is, only one 4* in the Loop will be shown.
Papa123142 Posted June 8, 2007 Author Report Posted June 8, 2007 I just booked Palmer House for 6/9 & 6/10 (Blues Weekend) for $100 per night. I stated the bid $100 for 3* in The Mellinium Loop area. Priceline not only accepted my bid but also ugraded to to a 4* Hotel.
