Priceline Hotel: 3* Toronto (Downtown) Marriott Eaton Center

I am new here just had a couple of questions .

1. My friend just won a decent bid at a hotel in DT Toronto . He has his parents coming and I have mine . Can I just call the hotel pretending to be him and ask them for an extra room at the same rate?

2. I am a Canadian resident but i am bidding for a room for my parents who are not canadian residents . Will they get charged Tax if I bid for the room using my CC.

85$ for the Toronto Mariott Eaton center its 3* on the 8th to the 13th of june

You can always call the hotel directly, ask for the front desk manager, mention that your friend has a reservation at $85 and ask if they will match it. Nothing ventured, nothing gained....but don't be surprised if you can't get this same rate. Your other choice is to bid using Priceline for the same dates, but there may be a chance that the bid could be accepted by another hotel. If you end up bidding, you can determine taxes and fees before you click the "buy now" button.
