jrnyman04
We stayed at this hotel for one night and booked 3 days before the stay for $45 on a 2.5* hotel bid in the Ventura area. As this is a non-smoking hotel and the only single bed they have is a king, we did not call ahead to request a room type.We checked in late (friday evening) around 10:45pm. The front desk lady said she had a long day and was just about to get off duty, but still was extremely pleasant to deal with and was very nice. We requested a room with a microwave and she said the C block had all rooms with a microwave, but there was no elevator to the 2nd floor, we said that was ok.The room was adequate. Not really spacious. Bathroom was small and probably needed some caulk work on the floor tiles under the wash basin. The room had a stuffy feeling to it (maybe it was not used in a while). The bed was very comfortable. Wired internet access was free (they even have the internet cable available in case you don't have one). The parking (is free) lot was less than half full, so the hotel was probably very empty. Courtyard looks to have a summer special of free breakfast on the weekends. We checked with the front desk in the morning and they said its not available. Probably its only for people that book off the hotel website.Overall its an acceptable hotel that will do the job, nothing special or memorable. I felt it was a good quality 2* motel. Maybe thats what a 2.5* means? Link to comment
