I tried the following:

$60 (Millenium Park - The Loop - Grant Park); rejected

$65 (Millenium Park - The Loop - Grant Park), Chicago (Midway Airport Area); rejected

$68 (Millenium Park - The Loop - Grant Park); rejected

$72 (Millenium Park - The Loop - Grant Park), Chicago (Midway Airport Area); rejected

My back up plan is the Swissotel at $109/night or the Conrad for $130/night.

I am a newbie, traveling to Chicago July 1 to July 6. No bites on an $80 bid for 4 star in Millenium Park or $82 for MP and North River area.

Where did you come up with the Swisshotel at $109 for back up? With only one convention in town, I thought that I would be able to come up with something for the week at a more reasonable rate. Tips???
