Priceline Hotel: down on the board

hello all,

wife and i will be in atlantic cityon 6/8/07 and are looking to book a 3* in downtown AC on priceline. I have tried 45, 50 and 55 dollar bids however they have been unsucessful. i can only stay for the 1 evening. What bid amount will work for a 3* and can anyone provide me with any viable alternatives.

What is your budget per night? The Econo Lodge is $125 per night, and the Holiday Inn is $186 per night. Since your stay is a friday night during the summer, I don't think your bids are realistic.

My budget is no more than 100 dollars taxes included. What would be a realistic bid for a 2* and 3* in atlantic city. I tried 60 yesterday for a 3* and was declined.

HOTWIRE has a 2* for $93 with Near Beach and Pool amenities. This should be the Super 8 Hotel; with taxes and fees you're up to $114. Prices mentioned on the board are "pre tax", so your max budget is likely to be around $80. I would keep increasing your bid by $5 at the 2* level.
