Priceline Hotel: Help ID 2* hotel in Defiance, OH

1st time booking in Defiance, OH, small town. Shows 2 star hotels to bid on, but only 3 hotels in Defiance and 2 of them are 3 star. The last of the 3 hotels is a Super-8 and shows NO stars.

Any idea what hotel(s) would be the 2 star we would be bidding on? Would they consider Napoleon, OH

(18 miles away) included with Defiance.

what are your dates of travel?

from Priceline's "shop and compare" site, it appears that the Comfort Inn and Holiday Inn Express are listed as being in Defiance. This is no guarantee that either of these hotels participate in the "name your own price" site for bidding. Also, you might find that bidding for hotels in smaller markets don't always yield great savings compared to booking the room directly. We are staying Fri. June 22,2007 til Sun. June 24. Actually there are about 5 other (couples) family members that are going. I saw the Super 8 as well, but no stars listed. Then when going to name your own price, it looks like I can pick 2 stars or 1 star...YIKes :)

Just found you guys recently and didn't realize there were board links, now I just got to figure out how to use them properly.

The two hotels dahammer mentions above are the likely suspects at the 2* level.

Note that on the "name your own price" page their is a checkbox for two other zones, one of them being Napolean, so as long as you only place a checkmark next to Defiance, your hotel should be within the city limits of Defiance (and not in Napolean).
