GlobalGuy Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 There are only 3 zones in this city so it is going to be tough. I can bid upto $ 100. I appreciate any help you can give me.

GlobalGuy Posted May 16, 2007 Author Report Posted May 16, 2007 I really want to stay in City Center. But I can settle for West City Center .
thereuare Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 No re-bids in this area, and we have yet to see a winning 4* bid under the $100 mark. I would try:Select 4* City Center...Bid $70, if rejected close browser re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 4* West...Bid $70, if rejected close browser re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 4* City Center and West...Bid $80.If rejected wait 24 hours and try:Select 4* City Center...Bid $90, if rejected close browser re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 4* West...Bid $90, if rejected close browser re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 4* City Center and West...Bid $100.You could spread it out a bit and do the above in 4 days, increasing $5 each time, but figured the above would give you time to come up with another gameplan if rejected.Any questions feel free to ask.Good luck and let us know how it goes. GlobalGuy Posted May 17, 2007 Author Report Posted May 17, 2007 Last night, my bid for 100$ was rejected for the zones City Centre and West City Centre. The only zone which I am yet to bid on is Airport and Southwest, which I feel is far from everything.Any suggestions are really appreciated.

GlobalGuy Posted May 17, 2007 Author Report Posted May 17, 2007 I dont know if Priceline deals with all the following hotelsThe Holyrood Hotel - $200George Intercontinental - $202Novotel Edinburgh Centre - $336Ben Doran Guest House - $240
WillTravel Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 Given that the cheapest rate you have found is $200, perhaps you would like to raise your bidding limit? How high would you like to go before you book conventionally?I would get a backup booked now - Edinburgh is a quite popular place.
