Hello,

I am trying to bid for a hotel (in dollars) for novotel hotel (either Novotel London West or Novotel London Eouston).

However, I could not get any for the dates May 24th and May 25.

I followed a post of what the bidder did below but was unsuccessful.

Novotel London Euston

What price should I expect around in the Hammersmith, London area for a Hotel?

thanks,

Dhaval

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Is this a one or two nite stay?

Are you now looking to change zones by adding the Hammersmith area (which is not the zone you previously bid above).

Which zones are you willing to stay in? What is your maximum bid? What is the minimum star rating you're willing to accept?

PS- i'm assuming you do understand that you're not bidding for a specific hotel, but rather can only select the minimum star rating and the goegraphic region you're willing to accept

Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

"PS- i'm assuming you do understand that you're not bidding for a specific hotel, but rather can only select the minimum star rating and the goegraphic region you're willing to accept" --Yep understood :-)

This is What I tried:

Date check in : May 24th, 2007, check-out date May 26th, 2007.

All 3 Star and up hotels:

I added from Hammersmith (preffered), and then Kensington - Earls Court - Knightsbridge , and then Bloomsbury - Marble Arch and then Mayfair - Soho all at $70.

My Maxmimum bid would be $80 a night, I have no idea if this is realistic or not, if not please recommend.

thanks and much appreciated,

I can't really say, as it's possible a low figure will work. So I don't really have anything new to add, but look for an acceptable backup option, and then judge what you are willing to pay for Priceline, and hope you are lucky to get a lower price than your limit.

Hey all,

After getting frustated I put in $120 dollars and got the London-Regents Park Holiday Inn 3* hotel.

I tried for the 4* hotels choosing almost all options upto $120 (Hammersmith, Kensington - Earls Court - Knightsbridge , and then Bloomsbury - Marble Arch and then Mayfair - Soho )--But did not return anything

Then for 3* and up:

$95 --Hammersmith

$110 --Hammersmith , Kensington - Earls Court - Knightsbridge

$120 --Hammersmith , Kensington - Earls Court - Knightsbridge ,Regents Park - Baker Street

Accepted: London-Regents Park Holiday Inn 3* hotel.
