jrnyman04 Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 We have a small child traveling with us. Hotwire seems to list different hotels when you enter 2 adults 1 child and 2 adults and 0 children. I am assuming the difference is the bed. Even if we get a room with one queen bed, its not an issue for us. So, is it ok if we buy the hotel that was listed only when you enter 2 adults 0 children or are there going to be problems? Thanks!
thereuare Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 Yes, the difference is the bedding, and it probably won't be an issue, but how old is your child and which city are you searching? jrnyman04 Posted May 6, 2007 Author Report Posted May 6, 2007 I was looking for hotels in the SoCal area. I saw various people posting here that they have ESA, Homestead etc... (try the Irvine area about a couple of weeks out) when they booked hotels with the single amenity of Laundry and I didn't find any such hotels listed when I was doing the search. So, I changed my query to 0 child and sure enough I saw those hotels many times (compared to 0 times when I had 1 child in the request). The child is small enough to make the bed a non issue and I am willing to compromise on that for the added benefit of the kitchen. Thanks!.

jrnyman04 Posted May 6, 2007 Author Report Posted May 6, 2007 I haven't booked any rooms on this. This is more of a generic question about the reservations made thru HOTWIRE. If you still want to move it to another folder, maybe you can move it to CA, OC folder. Thanks!
thereuare Posted May 6, 2007 Report Posted May 6, 2007 We'll use this thread to discuss whatever you end up doing for this particular stay (since you do have some specific stay/dates in mind) and as you point out, this is more of a question than a 'tip'.
