The exact location isn't all that important for me on this reservation, so I was lowballing in the Anaheim and Irvine area for a 2.5* and it got accepted at $45 for the 3* Embassy Suites. (5/26 - 5/28).

After reading the reviews that I could end up w/ one double bed and pay extra for parking, I wish i got an avg 2* hotel for the price.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

I would take an ES over a 2* (or 2.5*) property almost any day. I think your room will likely work out just fine, and it appears that the double bedded rooms at their property are not suires, so if you are given one of these, i would make the claim that your purchase entitles you to the hotel's standard room... which at this property should be a suite.

As far as parking, remember that most hotels in Airport areas charge for parking, and even non-opaque purchasers will be paying the parking charge as well... have an extra drink at their manager's reception and/or eat a little more at the complimentary breakfast to even it out :)

Please follow-up after your stay and let us know how your stay goes.

Thanks for the welcome!

I don't think we are "entitled" to a suite at that hotel. I have seen some reviews at PL that said they were given the small room w/ only one double bed in it. I will certainly post after I finish my stay.
