Priceline Hotel: 3* Houston (Galleria) Doubletree Guest Suites

I got the rest of my stay settled. After winning 4 nights at the Marriott West Loop by Galleria on HOTWIRE (see Hotwire thread), I needed to get 2 more nights settled, from 6/11 - 6/13.

Hotwire showed a 3.5* property with the following amenities at $89: Suite, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business, Laundry, High Speed Internet, Kitchenette. Supposed it to be the Doubletree Guest Suites.

Bid $53, $55, $57, $59 and $60 on Priceline, without getting any counteroffers. Bid $61 next (there are so many rebids), and got accepted at the Doubletree Guest Suites. Not bad at all, considering the rack rate of $207.20 when purchasing directly on Doubletree.com . I'm just glad I didn't bid for my whole 6-night stay, because I'm pretty confident I would have ended up at the same property. Now I have 4 nights at the Marriott and only 2 at the Doubletree. Eh, maybe it's not that bad :)

Went thru Savingsbarn first. Support the board - I do it :)
