DenverLogan Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 Orbitz had a $49 one star hotel, Hotwire had a $45 two star, then things jumped quite a bit on all the sites.I won this on Priceline with my first bid, $51...Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $51.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $13.71 Total Charges*: $64.71 ###Orbitz, Travelocity, Hotels, the hotel website and regular Priceline have it at $90 plus tax at $105. So, I'm saving around $40.The one Betterbidding review is bad, but most of the Tripadvisor reviews make it sound good. I'm happy!!
Dman Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 I've usually been able to win either the Hilton in Santa Rosa or the Doubletree in Rohnert Park for 3* bids in the $50-55 range on Priceline, and those are both very nice places. Let us know if this place is actually worthy of a 3* rating.
thereuare Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 I've usually been able to win...It would be appreciated if you would post and share your winning bids with the rest of the board. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Dman Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 Those earlier winning bids were well before I discovered this board.
