springstein28 Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I've been trying several times to bid for 4* USE, up to 90$, but no luck. I don't want to go up to high but I am wondering if it is too soon to bid for July. I guess my maximum bid will be 100$.I will keep you informed.
thereuare Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Rates are currently high for these dates... hopefully they'll come down in the coming weeks. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
springstein28 Posted May 27, 2007 Author Report Posted May 27, 2007 My current dates are 7/14 to 7/19. I*ve been trying USE up to 105$ today. No luck. I am thinking of splitting the bid. Any recommendations how to split (equal parts like 2 days and 3 days or 1 day and 4 days?. How can I figure out what is the best choice? I would consider USE and Wharf up to 105$. Thank you.
Colfax Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 Your five night stay starts on a Saturday night. At the USE Hilton and Marriott Saturday and Sunday nights are much less expensive than Mon/Tues/Weds. In fact Mon/Tues/Weds are sold out at both hotels. My opinion is to bid for Saturday and Sunday together in USE, from about $75 to $100. Then bid Mon-Weds together. You might have to go to Fisherman's Wharf for Mon-Weds or consider a 3* or Boutique in USE.
thereuare Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 To cover your bases, you could go thru the following date cycles:7/14-7/197/14-7/187/15-7/197/14-7/177/16-7/197/14-7/167/17-7/19If you need a more detailed explanation let us know and we'll add more.
