Priceline Hotel: 2.5* Chicago Suburbs (Lisle-Naperville) Courtyard

I have been trying to win on priceline 2 rooms for 2 nights 6/15-6/17, 2007 in naperville. I know it may be too early and inventory may not be loaded.

I saw country inn and suites on hotwire for $61. I would like to pay no more than $40, and only want 2.5* or 3* in naperville/lisle/warrenville area.

I have been starting my bidding with 2.5* in naperville area, then use my free rebids in aurora and algonquin to raise my bids.

I started bidding at $26, and capped off at $40 without any success.

Anyone have suggestions on when (mid may?) I should bid, and how much?

never mind....

tried again tonight.

started naperville 2.5* at $38, was offerred counteroffer bid of $49, rejected this, added algonquin and bid $40, rejected, and for one last bid added aurora and offerred $42, accepted.

There is limited board coverage this week, so apoligies for no response to your first post. I figure that any time you can get a Courtyard for less than half off, it is a great deal. Gotta luv the Courtyard beds!
