travelgirl23
Well, I definitely should have been more patient in my bidding and taken the time to do more research... I am ok with the Fairfield and the price, but I didn't realize that Wallingford was so far away from New Haven (again, my fault). Hopefully it's not too much of a pain to get back and forth. Had I realized there were 2*'s in New Haven (they do not appear on the list of hotels here), I wouldn't have added another zone (I would have rebid for a 2* in New Haven only at a higher price), or would at least have added a zone closer to New Haven... oh well, live and learn. At least it's cheap!Bid $55 for 4* in New Haven - rejectedBid $60 for 4* in New Haven (and another zone without a 4*) - rejectedBid $45 for 2.5* in New Haven - rejectedBid $35 for 2* in New Haven or Meriden-Wallingford - accepted Link to comment
thereuare
This hotel has been previously reported and is in the Priceline Hotel List (as is another 2 star property in this zone). The correct way to determine your re-bid zones is explained in this thread: Priceline Re-Bidding ExplainedThanks for sharing your win with the board. ufauxreal
That hotel is right off an exit of I-91, so it's a straight shot down 91 into New Haven. Shouldn't take more than 15 mins.JB Link to comment

When I stayed at the 2.5* Homewood Suites right next to this 2* Fairfield Inn; I found it was easy to visit New Haven; we are the member of Peabody Museum of Yale Univ, and need to visit it often...I feel your bid could have been improved by staying at 2.5* while including this zone. You may check out the Homewood Suites next door while you are there so that you get an idea what I mean. The price would not be much higher. Link to comment
