need help identifying the following hotel on Hotwire.

Orlando airport : 3.5*

amenities are:

This is a match for both the Renaissance Airport as well as the Hyatt Regency... so either of those woudl be our best guess.

If I decide to book I will definitely use the link provided. I don't want to risk not getting the Hyatt though. :)

How close is the part where it says it's a $99 retail value?

Because the Hyatt is aboutt $189 a night.

The 'retail price' supplied by HOTWIRE is not a reliable indicator.

Given that the Hyatt looks just like another hotel in the are you'll never be able to iscolate just that property to target it. If you only will be happy with the Hyatt you may want to book direct (and please use our link to do so)

Just poking around the Hotwire site and found what I think is the Hyatt Airport hotel for $93.

I have read that the Renaissance has the same amenties, and the Sheraton Suites is now listed as a 3.5 with the same amenities.

When I put in the package deal with a car the Hyatt is listed but not the Ren or the Sheraton.

I am looking at the night of 9/7/07 for a 1 night stay.

Anybody have any insight that would give me any more certainty or is just a crapshoot?

If I bid where is the HOTWIRE link from here?

It'll be a 'crapshoot' as you put it. Not all hotels that participate in the opaque service also participate in the packages product... so while this might be the only hotel showing in the packages, the other hotel(s) may not participate (or haven't made their rate available for packages for this date).

you can use this HOTWIRE link or the one on the left hand side of the page. Its possible that the Renaissance nor Sheraton don't participate in the packages.

thanks for the tips. Looks like I waited too long. The price for the 3.5 airport hotel is now $49 which makes me think it's now the Sheraton Suites. I'm going to keep checking and if I bid it will definitely be through your link.

try searching HOTWIRE for 2 adults and 1 or 2 kids to see if it changes from the Sheraton......

tried both 2 adults and 1 child and 2 adults and 2 children. Still coming up with the $49 price. It says Best Value too if that helps any.

it was worth a "shot" as some hotels don't supply rates to HOTWIRE for more than just 2 adults.

Just checking HOTWIRE yet again and for the nights of 9/7/07 to 9/15/07 there is a 3.5 hotel listed for the airport that is not on the list that I can find.

It has all the amenities of the Hyatt and ren except for the restaurant?

Amenities: Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, pool(s) Business Center, High Speed Internet.

The hotel is currently undergoing some renovations and has "limited food and beverage service", which may account for the lack of a Restaurant icon.

Wound up getting the Sheraton Suites for $46 for the night of September 7th from Priceline. It is listed as a 3*. Hotel was excellent and would definitely stay there again.
