I had been bidding for a 2 1/2* going up by $2.00 increments. At $42.00, I was told that I had been upgraded to a 3*. ( I actually wanted a 2 1/2* & was hoping for the Residence Inn, oh well). With the taxes & fees, the total was $53.92.

Looks like a nice place, & I did save some money (not a lot, but every little bit helps)....the site said $76.60 with the taxes.

oops, forget to tell you the date that I got this hotel for...March 31, Saturday night.

With traditional rates at $70 it's hard to discount too much on an absolute scale, but this still represents a 40% discount which is pretty good!
