Bid up to $100, but no luck.Moved out to the airport.Started from SavingsBarn.com$50 bid for a 3* hotelRejectedAdded Elizabeth area, increased bid to $65.Accepted.Your Offer Price: $65.00 Extend Your Stay Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $65.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $17.69 Total Charges*: $82.69 Were going to a show in Jersey City, at the Lowes Theater. Does anyone know if it's easier to ride the train to Newark, and the Path to Journal Square? Or just drive and park?Thanks!Josephine

dahammer Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 My original bid was 3*/Newark - Newark Airport/$50.Got it! thanks...By the way, if you find yourself at the Doubletree around dinnertime, and don't feel like eating high priced, sub-par quality steaks (with small portions :) ) at Shula's, give the Spanish Tavern a call, they will send a van and pick you up and return you to the hotel at no charge. Much better food, normal portions and better prices.
