dahammer Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 In the Fort Lee zone, I saw that HOTWIRE had a 3* customer favorite: Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, High Speed Internet @ $67....thought it might be the Radisson in Saddle River or Hilton Hasbrouck Heights. Started a Priceline bid in the Paramus-Hackensack area at the 3* level and bid $56, trying to low ball, but was rejected. Upped the bid to $62 and added Ridgefield as a rebid zone, success!Your Offer Price: $62.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $17.05 Total Charges: $79.05 this represents a $117 savings compared to conventional rates, so I'm pretty happy with the result. The layout of this hotel is sort of odd, its an older 2 story sprawling property adjacent to a shopping mall and it does not have an elevator, it really does not seem like a good match for the Crowne Plaza brand. My room had two double beds and a large desk for work and free high speed (wired) internet. I prefer this Crowne Plaza over the Radisson in Saddle Brook hands down.
