This was the easiest NYC hotel room I ever got.

For one night, March 15:

Bid $140, 4 * MTW

added MTE, $155

logged out and started again with

MTW, UES, $165

added MTE for $180--accepted

Westin NY Times Square

The funny thing is that other times we might have preferred Times Square, and this time MTE might have been a bit more convenient, but it's my first time to land in Times Square, so I'm excited about that.

This is a very nice hotel and it's nice to see it appear a bit more than usual recently.

If you're looking for an inexpensive dinner, i often recommend John's Pizza which is right around the corner from this property (44th St b/w 7th and 8th Avenues)... stick with the pizza (and Petes-a-Rolls) and stay away from the entrees... very good pizza in a beautiful environment (it's a converted cathedral... sit in the back and watch them make pizza in the open kitchen stations with extremely high ceilings).
