brota
Hello I am trying to identify this hotel for a Sesame Place trip any help would be appreciated.Dates 6/27 to 6/30hot Wire DetailsBensalem - NE Philadelphia3*$44 per nightHotel Amenities include:Fitness CenterRestaurant(s)Pool(s)Laundry FacilitiesI think it is either a Radisson or Holiday INN (Bucks County) but I would like to be more sureThank you Link to comment
dahammer
I think its either of two: Radisson or Holiday Inn Select. A third remote possibility is the Holiday Inn Philadelphia Northeast (which is actually in Bensalem), but I think this is a 2.5* or lower, and is an older Holiday Inn with (I believe) outside entrances to the rooms. All 3 properties are close to Sesame Place and the new slot casino at Philadelphia Park Racetrack. I don't think you can go wrong, $44 is a really good rate Link to comment
brota
That looks like a great deal.Does Hotwire let you add days? Say I select it for one night but want to add the other 2 after I know which hotel it is?Thank you Link to comment
thereuare
Does Hotwire let you add days? No, but you can do a search for the first nite and then do another search for the remainder of your stay and see if what appears to be the same hotel (based upon the same star rating and amenties) appears for each search. If so, you can purchase the first nite in order to 'look behind the curtain' and then purchase the remaining nite(s) if you're pleased with the outcome. The two risks in doing this are: 1) after you make the first purchase the same hotel is no longer shown on a subsequent search for the reamainder of your dates, and 2) the hotels on each search appear to be the same, but they turn out to be different hotels with the same exact star rating and amenities. Both of these risks are rare (imo), but you need to be aware of them to make an educated decision. Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make. If you do choose two separate purchases, please use the previous link for each purchase (ie- after clicking the link and making your first purchase, return here and click the HOTWIRE link again to begin your second purchase).Any other questions feel free to ask.Good Luck and let us know how it goes. sage
I've stayed at both the Radisson and Holiday Inn Select there, and would stay at either one again without hesitation. Link to comment

brota
Sorry It appears that the North East Holiday Inn appears to be a 3 star hotel not a 2.5 star like mentioned earlier. That hotel has mixed reviews.I was looking for a website that list the official star ratings so I can confirm before I buy Link to comment

Are you seeing this on a HOTWIRE page? Each service (priceline, HOTWIRE, Orbitz, Expedia, Travelocity, Hotels.com, etc, etc) all use their own criteria for rating hotels (unfortunately there is no standard within the industry)... so if one company rates 'Hotel X' at 2.5 stars then that doesn't necessarily mean that another company will rate that same hotel 2.5 stars as well.
