Would someone please help identify hotel. I have never used Hotwire or Priceline.

Feb. 18-21, 2007

4* star hotel in Eiffel Tower- Musee d'Orsay-Invalides

Amenities: Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access

Best deal - $142

Is is safe to say it is - Paris Hilton

If so, would it be better to try Priceline - in hopes of getting that hotel at lower price?

There's a good chance it's the Paris Hilton, but other hotels in the area fulfill the same criteria, so you can't be 100% sure.

I wouldn't use Priceline, because the corresponding zone on Priceline is much larger than this Hotwire zone, and with Priceline you run the risk of getting an inconvenient and possibly not nice hotel like the Sofitel Porte de Sevres. But there's a good chance of getting a cheaper price.

I've actually been looking long and hard at the paris offerings for an upcoming trip.

The Paris Hilton is the only hotel reported with the amenities above, but as WillTravel points out, there could always be others. I'm actually seeing what i believe to be different hotels (with the same amenities) offered for the dates i've been checking (slightly different than your own) depending upon how i break up the stay. In this zone i think other possibilities are the Hotel le Walt and the Hotel Le Marquis... both of which also get pretty good reviews.

I decided to try Hotwire. And indeed it was the Hilton Paris. $143 a night (x3 nights + 29.90 taxes = $458.90).
