Priceline Hotel: breckenridge - beaver run "deluxe studio" - feb/24 mar/03

Hello.

I am planning on getting a 7 nights stay in a Hotel called Beaver Run, at Breckenridge. It was very well recommended by a friend, who has just come back from there. It is very well located, ski-in/out, with an option for a studio room with a kitchinnete, good to prepare your own dinner without having to go out.

I was wondering if I could be able to get this room via priceline, as the regular rate for this "deluxe studio" room is about US$ 250 per night, plus taxes, which is a little high...

I've already came across to a few issues that I think could be a problem:

1. As for what I checked in Pirceline, there are two 3* hotels listed for the area, and I didn't want take the risk of getting the other hotel.

2. The room that I want to get is not the regular hotel room, but the "deluxe studio" that has the kitchinette. Is there a way to get a diferentiated room via priceline, or we don't have any command on that?

Finally, if it becomes clear that my mission here is impossible, could you suggest any other way, different from simply getting the reservation done directly through the hotel, that could be less expensive?

Your scenario above, on many levels, does not lend itself well to an opaque purchase.

All you can do is search websites (the usual suspects of Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity, Hotels.com, etc) to see if anyone is offering a better price.
