Hi

I'm a long time lurker and have had much advice from this super site. Now I would like to ask for some help please.

I am staying at the Aladdin from 16th to 19th Jan with a friend at her promotional rate but I need somewhere for the 16th and 17th.

I think I would perhaps like to stay downtown or perhaps the Westin if it wasn't too pricey as I shall be on my own.

What do folks think I should do?

Thanks.

Welcome to BetterBidding! Can you give us an idea about your minimum star rating that you will accept and maximum budget per night? You also mentioned that you you would prefer to stay at the Westin, you can't really target a specific property when bidding. Can you also confirm your dates as they overlap your Aladdin stay.

Ooops! Thanks for a swift reply dahammer.

Now! I'm arriving on a Sunday------14th Jan. I have that day and the following day to myself and then I join a friend on Tuesday 16th Jan.

If I stay downtown I would like a nice hotel----e.g. not The Gold Spike type. :)

Thanks again.

PS If it makes a difference----I'm a female on her own.

I'm sorry for stating that I'm a female on her own. :) I was advised that parts of downtown are unsuitable.

My budget for downtown wouldn't be much more than $60 per night and otherwise perhaps $100.

No need to be sorry, i understood the reason for you stating such, and i was just kidding.

Do you prefer to stay to stay Downtown for $60 (or under) or on the Strip for $100 (or under)?

Thank you. I think downtown but first of all I am going to try for the Renaissance as per pirate's post and I'll see what I might get.

I shall of course go through the link from this site.

WOW! Thanks to all for help and replies!

I went through this site of course and started with $60 for Convention Centre and was offered it for $77 so I started again and went up to $65----refused again so I went to $70 and it was accepted for the Renaissance!

WOW! Thanks so much. I am thrilled. :)
