Willow Branch Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 Well, I am VERY happy with this price.....didn't do as well as "tchrchgo" did a few days ago since they were able to get it for $32.00!I started bidding at $32.00 & inched up $1.00 increment for each bid since I had virtually an unlimited of re-bids! This was reallyFUN to bid because I had 6 areas that I could use for my free re-bids since I wanted a 3* level! I know that when there are 5 areas, and I use the math permutations, I have a total of 32 bids, (don't know the exact number when there are 6 areas). When I reached $36.00, they gave me a counter offer of $10.00 more & I would get it. So, I just kept adding $1.00 & at $41.00, they gave it to me (so by adding 1/2 of their counter offer would have been sufficient!!).We have 2 rooms for 2 nights for $164.00 plus TAXES & FEES of $28.74 which make this a total of $192.74!! On line, I found that I could have gotten this room for $99.00 per room per night; so yes, I saved more that half!!! THANK YOU Priceline AND THANK YOU to BETTERBIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!PS Of course I bid thru SavingsBarn! :)
