gaddamit Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 I was planning on naming my own price for my trip to las vegas between jan 11-15th. Which area do MGM, NYNY, aladin etc all fall under? Is it considered the tab they call "Las Vegas Strip Vicinity" or is it one of the following other options?? Convention Center - UNLV Area Fremont St. Vicinity Henderson - Lake Las Vegas Las Vegas Airport (LAS) Las Vegas Strip Vicinity Nellis - Las Vegas Speedway Summerlin - NW Las Vegas West of Strip Also what do you think my chances of getting a 4 star hotel during this time is for paying $100 after taxes? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, and most importantly if someone could tell me which category those hotels fall under. Thanks again.
gaddamit Posted December 10, 2006 Author Report Posted December 10, 2006 I am looking for a hotel jan 11-15th and there is a 3star hotel listed for $64 a day on the North Strip. I was wondering if someone could help me identify this hotel. The Hotel amenities include:Hotel Amenities Resortcasinofitness centerrestaurantsgolf nearbypoollaundy facilitiesspa servicesThanks in advance. P.S. I am very glad I found this site, it has been very helpful!
thereuare Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. If you ultimately use another service, we'll then move the entire thread to that section of the board.I doubt you'll be successful for a 4* hotel for these dates at under $100 "all-in".The HOTWIRE hotel above is a match for the Stratosphere so that would be our best guess. Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. dahammer Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 please list your maximum bid per day, your minimum star rating as well as the Priceline zones that you are willing to accept.
thereuare Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 Probably looking at a bid amount of $110-140.If you would like to bid let us know your maximum and we will suggest a strategy to follow. gaddamit Posted December 12, 2006 Author Report Posted December 12, 2006 Do you think I wait till maybe after the new year, the prices might be lower? I dont see why the prices would be on the higher end in the middle of jan.
gaddamit Posted December 12, 2006 Author Report Posted December 12, 2006 Actually a new hotel has shown up on hotwire. It is a 3star in the North strip from dates jan 11-15. The price is $73 a day. This is the info that is included, if you could please help me to identify this hotel. thereuare Posted December 13, 2006 Report Posted December 13, 2006 This matches both the Flamingo and the Riviera, so either of those would be our best guess. For that price, including a weekend stay, i'd lean towards the Riviera, but it coudl be either. Please use this HOTWIRE link if you decide to purchase this property.Let us know how it goes or if we can help further. gaddamit Posted December 19, 2006 Author Report Posted December 19, 2006 It looks like prices are coming down for the weekend of the 11-15th of jan. A 4 star hotel showed up on hotwire today for $125 a night. I am guessing it is the luxor, but could you please take a look, and suggest which hotel you think it is. Its a 4 star hotel in South Strip. This is what is included:ResortFitness CenterRestaurantsHigh Speed Internet AccessTennis NearbyCasinoPoolsBusiness CenterGolf NearbySpa Services

jim j Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Isn't the Flamingo considered central strip on Hotwire?
thereuare Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 This thread is from 2006 at which time HOTWIRE only had North/South Strip zones. (but was recently *bumped* as the OP only now follow-up their thread)If you need help with an upcoming stay please start a NEW TOPIC.Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Thanks.
