Looking for a hotel stay to give my lovely daughter-in-law for a thirtieth birthday gift. (Son has already booked the Eurostar.)

Bidding went as follows:

4* Opera East $101, rejected with a counter for $162. Closed browser and started again.

4* Opera West $107, rejected with a counter for $121. Now we

For anyone looking for a 4*plus in Paris before Christmas I have just been bidding for 19th and 20th December.

Started at $107 and used multiple re-bids to $135, consistently getting a counter for $209. This probably means its winnable for around $170 to $185.

I wasn't prepared to go higher, since Hotwire had the Hilton Paris for $125 and I don't rate the likely 4*plus properties as worth much more premium than that. Ultimately won a 4* for $111, see separate post above.
