rad7828 Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 I am trying to oranize a bachelor party for 6 in Vegas for the dates of April 12th to April 15th. I have never used priceline or any other bidding sites. Can anyone give me any advice on where I should start and if it is smart to use these tools for larger groups? Thx for any help anyone can give me!!
dahammer Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 the first bit of advice when organizing a bachelor party is "money talks and bulls*** walks" which is to say, you only have a commitment from the participants when you have their cash in hand. Now then, a little help from you....how many rooms, what is the zone that you want to stay in, the minimum star rating? When bidding on Priceline, you must be willing to accept any hotel that meets the minimum star rating in the zone that you select. So, you can't choose your hotel and you can't back out of the deal.
rad7828 Posted November 16, 2006 Author Report Posted November 16, 2006 I agree with your statement! I am going to need two rooms(three people per room) and we want to stay on the strip. Star rating is a little unclear. We are thinking we would like to keep the cost of air and hotel equal or less than $500. Flights are looking like they are running around 250-290 round trip but it is still very early to think about that.
