ewismer Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Hello,Just starting to plan a family vacation over Christmas week in Paris. Will it be possible to get a good deal on a 3 or 4 star hotel at that time? I have never traveled during that week. Will the hotels be full? Any suggestions or advice will be appreciated.
thereuare Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Which zone(s) within Paris are you interested in?Are you seeking multiple rooms? (ie- you mention a 'family' vacation, and trying for more than double occupancy in Europe can be a risky proposition)What is your maximum bid/expected budget? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
ewismer Posted November 10, 2006 Author Report Posted November 10, 2006 Thereuare,I am interested in two rooms. I want to be in the downtown Paris area ( I have not checked the zones yet, but would like somewhere on the Left Bank or such). I am flexible on the budget. I just want to know if I can get a much better deal using Priceline for this time period, or if it is a busy time and I might not be able to do much better than just booking directly with a hotel.Thanks.
WillTravel Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 In order to tell what's a good deal on Priceline, you'll have to do some rate research to see what hotel prices are for your dates.I suggest starting here:Accor Hotels
